Samsung Galaxy Camera launched in UK, due for launch in Indian Subcontinent in mid November

With the Galaxy Camera, the world of new possibilities has been opened in the United Kingdom (UK). The camera has been launched in UK at a price tag of £399 including VAT.

From the camera point of view, the Galaxy camera houses a 16.2 megapixel BCI CMOS sensor, 21x optical zoom, f/2.8 aperture, 23mm focal length, 8GB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory, and is packed with 10 preset modes having different ISO, shutter and aperture settings for clicking pictures in different environments, namely:

  • Rich Tone
  • Action Freeze
  • Waterfall Trace
  • Light Trace
  • Beautiful Sunset
  • Blue Sky
  • Natural Green
  • Silhouette
  • Vivid Fireworks

As far as the extra-camera features are concerned, the camera runs on a 1.4 GHz Quad Core processor, features a 4.77 inch HD touchscreen display, and runs on an Android 4.1 (Jellybean) operating system. The camera has connectivity features like 3G, Wifi, as well as Bluetooth v4.0, and gives a strong competition to the Coolpix S800c, the first android powered camera by Nikon.
